My son wanted a bedspread to match his Ambulance quilt so I made the Strawberry Melon quilt.

Once again I appliquéd and quilted the lovely, soft flannel material on a background of brown corduroy with coarse hemp yarn.

The quilt is very big so it’s hard to get all of it into the picture. That’s why it looks a little lopsided here even though all the seams are completely straight, of course.

The quilt measures 250 x 250 cm.
