This Starry Log Cabin was a special order. I was given free rein to decorate the purple wall of an elegant apartment in a beautiful, old building overlooking a canal in the historic section of Copenhagen.
The NB Quilt design was based on the interplay of colours between the wall, the house and the water.
The pattern is traditional Log Cabin but with an unusual twist since a star is placed in the center of the block.
The piece measures 138 x 202cm / 73in. x 50in. and is hand quilted.
