At five years old, he fell in love with a sewing machine and all the possibilities it held.

Grandma gave him free access to her fabrics, and he chose colors and stitched them together

Bigger and bigger it grew, all in his own choice of colors and combinations.

And little brother is happy and warm.

The blanket is now meant for his little brother, so he kept on sewing and sewing.

At six in the morning he would sit up in bed  and announce that it was time to sew.
That was probably the one thing he and Grandma didn’t quite agree on.
